Frequently asked questions
-
Absolutely! Pilates is for every body and every stage of life. If you’re completely new, our Intro Reformer classes are the perfect place to start. They’re designed to introduce you to the reformer, the fundamentals and how to move confidently in a supportive environment. You can also join a Level 1 class if you feel ready.
-
If you’re brand new or feeling a little nervous, we recommend starting with Intro Reformer. If you’ve done Pilates before or feel comfortable giving it a go, Level 1 is a great starting point. If you’re unsure, send us a message and we’ll help you choose the right class.
-
Not at all. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels and abilities. Your instructor will offer modifications and progressions throughout class, so you can work at a level that feels right for you.
-
Your instructor will take you through how the reformer works and guide you through the movements throughout the class. You don’t need to know anything beforehand — just arrive ready to move, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Getting started
-
Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that allows you to move freely. We recommend avoiding anything loose that could get caught in the reformer.
-
Yes, grip socks are required for all Reformer Pilates classes for safety and hygiene. If you don’t have a pair, you can purchase them at the studio.
-
Just yourself, a water bottle and your grip socks. Everything else you need for class is provided.
-
For your first class, we recommend arriving around 10 minutes early so you have time to settle in and meet your instructor. After your first visit, arriving a few minutes before class is perfect.
Before class

Yes. You can manage your bookings through your online account. Please check our cancellation policy before booking, as late cancellations and no-shows may result in the loss of your class credit.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Two to three classes a week is a great routine for many people, but even one class a week is a great place to start. Choose a routine that fits into your life and feels sustainable.
